Served (aerated; 1-hr decant) with BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, Chips and Salad.
Dark purplish red on the pour; clear in the glass. Dark fruit; Blackberry and plum on the nose, carrying over to the palate along with some black pepper and some minerality. Medium to Full Bodied; robust and full flavored. Mild tannins, but enough to leave a fuzzy tooth feel, with moderate acidity. Medium tart finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
