July 19, 2009 - From the Rancho Sisquoc Info Sheet:

"(40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 27% Merlot and 13% Malbec.) The aromas in this bright cherry colored blend are of toasted almond, caramel, toffee and fudge with subtle plum, date and blackberry reduction. The very smooth mouth shows an abundance of black cherry and dried dark fruits with hints of clove that lead to a fruit filled oakiness on a friendly palate. Barrel aged 15 months in French & Hungarian oak. Flood Family Vineyards. pH 3.54 TA 6.5 Alcohol 14.4%"

Whom am I to disagree? This a consistently excellent blend from Rancho Sisquoc. Always a favorite go-to in our household.
