  September 9, 2009 - Dark ruby red. The smell is based on Mediterranean scrub: ranges from helicrysum to licorice, then temporarily rises to mulberry and plum to eventually descend down to its roots, grown on ancient soil: tar and volcanic ashes are recalled. Subtle mature tannins, stimulating acidity and a mind-blowing selection of dark minerals are in perfect balance with persuasive softness. Clean finishing. Terroir champion.
