  October 12, 2009 - Pop and pour. Nice cherry, Hoisin nose. Somewhat lean on the palate but still in balance. Long finish. Gains weight with air but still somewhat lean. A food wine, but very enjoyable. This was my first old Mt. Eden. I wanted minerality like the Cab but this was not to be. Still good fruit and elegant. Drink now while it has fruit.
