  October 17, 2009 - Dark red in colour with no signs of diminishing rim. In the mouth this wine bursts of red cherries, lots of red cherries nicely intervened in oak and crisp acidity.Medium body with great character and much more elegant than I would have anticipated. Surprising youthfull and lively with enough acid and fruit to carry it many years ahead. Good lenght with rather aggressive tannins and a mouthdrying finish. I give it another 5 years before I crack another bottle; by then it might have matured and developed more depth and complexity which I feel is missing at the moment in order to really call it an interesting wine.
