Decanted and poured.....muted on the nose but nebbiolo peeking through....it was just waking up from its nap and not ready to play but I knew it was there....put it aside to sip on a '98 Ca Rome Barbaresco (pretty wine by the way).....
Here comes dinner...a very nice Osso Bucco with risotto....Let's say hello to young Vietti again.....Hello, Barolo!!!!
Classic Barolo nose....The mouth is wonderfully balanced, acting as a taste multiplier for each bite of the Osso Bucco.....
Seriously, this is only a baby nebbiolo? Go get yourself some at $25 retail if you want some fine stuff to kill that Barolo jones without breaking the bank...4,906 views
