November 18, 2009 - Tasted at sea on the Silver Wind off the coast of Egypt. This was at a Burgundian influenced dinner of Poulet de Bresse. The wine was fully open and bursting with pleasure and complexity. Captivating nose of dark cherries; on the palate lots of Griotte cherries and cinnamon intermixed. The wine is multilayered and evolves as the evening progresses. An absolutely delightful wine.
