  November 28, 2009 - Surprisingly nice Merlot. Strong, dark fruit (plum some cherry) on the nosel, with a bit of a dusty underpinning that give the wine an interesting character. Solid fruit on initial taste, which build to an explosive finish. Moderate tannins throughout give the wine nice weight. I have had Schweiger cabs and merlots in the past, and this is by far my favorite.
