    January 8, 2010 - Medium brick core only fading slightly at the edges. At first I was concerned the wine was was corked, but if it were, it seemed to blow off. There was a strong Brett (band-aid) gamey component. Overall really nice balance with just enough acidity. With some time, the Brett opened into a much more complex and intriguing blend of sauteed mushrooms and a hint of soy. The palate seemed to have that seamless, silky texture that I've noticed form Volnay.
