January 23, 2010 - Color: very dense dark burgundy red, lots of legs on the glass, almost syrupy.

Nose: "ay, yay, yay, and I know that this is a sweaty horse" (Ursula), "effect of flaring nostrils, as the sweaty horse passes by" (Mimi). Sweaty horse ass has been mentioned in the same sentance as cork - visuals you don't want to have while tasting wine! I'd say it has a lot of leather, cellars, smoke wood, heavy musk for those who like it.

Taste: thick syrupy, strooooong tannins, nose echoed in taste, lots of musk! Almost creamy. Almost can chew the tannins. Missing body, but good strong taste. When served with Spanish food, goes perfect, reminds you of sitting in Spanish country side.

Finish: long strong tannins, a bit sour on finish.

This one is definetly an aquired taste. Mimi swear by god and all universal powers she will never like it. Take everything that some people hate about Spanish wine, and what some people love about Spanish wine and put it in a concentrate - a concentrate everyone will remember.
