  February 13, 2010 - A different bottle than last (1-5-08). Nose of surmaturite plums and blackberries that, while not ncessarily a negative, didn't have the complexity of the previous bottle. Ripe fruit on the palate as well, but didn't seem to be old or tired; nice restraint and complexity; paired well w/ sirloin and beef cheek lasagna. Still a very good syrah, but not quite how I remember it.
