February 26, 2010 - Dark red to purple color. Really nice nose of red berry, dill, herb, spice. On the palate there more red fruit, raspberry, cherry, spice and ALCOHOL. Correctly guessed Cali because of the heat. Really disappointing with the sticker on this wine, I guess WS had it right for a change. (88)

3/3/10, 9:39 AM - You need to try this wine again once it has a few years on it so that it can integrate all of the elements, including the alcohol.. These are fantastic if you can leave them alone for about 5 years or so.

3/27/10, 2:49 PM - This was from a Pinot blind tasting so didn't really choose when to taste. There was an older 02 Smoke present and I couldn't even tell it was a Pinot as it was very Rhone like on the nose. Was kinda shocked as other 07's showed much better IMO.

How does the alcohol integrate over time?
