  March 3, 2010 - copper salmon disc, slight brown rim. candied cherry fruit and spring lilac dominate the nose. smells very fresh. big, well resolved tannins in great balance with mouth watering acidity and body. fruit and floral on the attack, this wine shows a bit of its age on the finish with some earthy, wet fall leaf pile aspects. medium plus finish with good complexity. this bottle is drinking well now with primary fruit still intact but showing some secondary notes as well.
