  October 17, 2004 - Dark red/black colour. Scents of ink and shoe polish. After a while a strong scent of blueberries developed. To begin with this wine seemed a touch "hot" on the aftertaste, however after 30 minutes in the glass things sort of fell into place. Very powerful palate impression with great intensity. Brimming with ripe fruit and a lovely vanilla-spiced aftertaste. Good complexity and balance - especially after 30 minutes of air.
