  October 17, 2004 - Medium red with only the slightest of browning at the rim. Scents of vanilla and toasty oak. In the mouth the wine had an exquisite oily texture with a sweet flavour impression. Very nice concentration and focus with many dimensions of complexity. The aftertaste was balanced and fruity and lasting 25 seconds. I had a bottle of this about 2 years ago and that bottle was slightly better, however this bottle was no slouch.
