  March 20, 2010 - Dark purple. Nose of black fruit, but savory. Nothing about it is juicy, but the palate features plenty of dark, brooding fruit and smoky meat flavors with a hint (more than a hint would be disgusting - but this works) of oyster jus. Nice med-long finish.

  3/20/10, 7:20 PM - I agree this is a terrific and interesting wine. If you get a chance you should try the Ramey Rodgers Creek Syrah for a different but also quite compelling wine.
