  March 20, 2010 - Somewhat cloudy, dark magenta color. Black cherry and blackberry aromas with just a hint of "gamy-ness", and a fleeting pine-sap note. On the palate, rich black fruits are still there, but the "gamy" flavor is more pronounced than it was in the nose, and there is just a little streak of acid that still shows through. Nice body and balance, good mid-palate, nice finish. I expect this to peak in another year or two.
