  March 31, 2010 - Pop and pour. Picked up from JV Wine in Napa for $29.99. Still absolutely opaque color almost to the rim. Fresh, deep, and dense aromatics-- trace of leafiness, but largely just pure cassis, trace of euculyptus, vanilla, and ripe fruits. On the palate the wine is huge, ripe, but fresh, with well-judged acidification and perhaps some RS (if there is anything left I will run analysis), with just a smidge of secondary cedar, tobacco, and tar. This is gorgeous, cooler-climate, Aussie Cabernet: balances richness with brightness well.
