  April 9, 2010 - An excellent Cotes du Rhone imitator, this wine has aromas of very ripe blackberries, with hints of pepper and licorice. On the palate are seductive and silky layers of ripe blackberries and cherries, with hins of grilled meat and milk chocolate. The acidity gives the fruit freshness, and though the alcohol is a bit present on the finish, the wine seems balanced. All in all the wine is attractive, and a good value if found under $20, especially those who like hedonisitic, modern styles of wine. Very Good.
