May 5, 2010 - My 2nd favorite of the night. Funky nose that blew off. Wish it hadn't. As one person said, "We should call John Alban with a message - Nirvana Dude!" Bloody neat with grapes, cherries, blue berries. A lsaughtered lamb in the forest with some sage and fresh mint. Finished with a side of Tiramisu. An 18 Wheeler hits you like a brick. I just shook my head the whole time....

5/8/10, 12:54 PM - Thanks for the note. I think the Lorraine is arguably his best Syrah, at least based on the few vintages I've had. Really spectacular stuff!
