  On the nose, pear, some soft acids and a creamy sweet aroma. On the palate....rich, trending toward sweet. Somewhere between Kabinett and Spatlese to me re: sweetness. Lush mouthfeel kept lively by acidity and a sense of minerality. This is not a summer quaffer, but rather a serious wine that demands either big food or a roaring fire.

  5/14/10, 4:45 PM - This sounds great. I love Alsacian Pinot Gris. I have had the Gewurtz version of this. I like Weinbach wines.
