  June 26, 2010 - This meritage has a nice nose of dark fruit & spices. It drank well right out of the bottle, with good structure but not overwhelming tannins. I left a half-bottle corked in the cellar and found it had faded a bit the second day--I've found many other young reds often improve on the second day, so perhaps this one has less aging potential than most? Too easy to drink now in any case!
