Community Tasting Note

July 1, 2010 - Good dark fruit and mocha nose, big cherry taste - good acidity but a little too sour for me. long aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel. Drank it over a couple of nights and there were times when it seemed a little thin in the middle. Very good but not quite the bang I was expecting for a grand cru, but then it was an off year for the Cote de Beaune and perhaps it was starting to taper off.

7/2/10, 10:24 AM - Clos St. Denis is from Morey St. Denis, Cote de Nuits, not Cote de Beaune but I can appreciate the tasting note.
