  May 24, 2006 - Beautiful pale straw coloring. The aromatics are wonderful cool climate SB: gooseberry dominates and carries through to light grassy notes (there is a complete absense of amonia). This is a wonderful wine. The palate is bright and crisp with decent weight and very good length. With time I"m finding crushed sea shells (a la Chablis) and hints of lemon with a marzapan kicker. I've had this vintage a few times and this is the best it has shown. This wine is drinking wonderfully and showing NO signs of aging.
