August 3, 2010 - Smells of plums, currants, black cherries...a good start! Taste has a bite that's a bit sharp. This, in conjunction with some bitterness, overwhelms any finer qualities and makes me feel more like I'm just trying to get through the glass than actually enjoying it. I won't go so far as to say it's bad, but it's not good.
