  August 17, 2010 - This is what Châteauneuf-du-Pape is supposed to smell like: olives, stones, funky fruit, blood, and garrigue. What a beefy, muscle-bound wine! I really think that it would give the Pegau a run for it's money. Dripping fruit, cocoa, and coffee notes sing throughout the palate. This wine has some serious stuffing and will reward you beautifully for many years to come.
