August 22, 2010 - I first drank this wine at a Catarina De'Medici dinner. I was quite surprised to see an Argentinian Pinot Noir. The wine is very atypical of Pinot. The nose featured strawberry and cherry, with a distinct creaminess. Very fruit forward, the mid-palate was bright and full bodied, with overtones of rasberry cream and wet earth. The acidity on the finish was lingering and supports food pairings very well. I think this wine is a bargin at $27.00 and although different, would rival and exceed most California Pinots at a similar price point
