June 20, 2010 - Not quite as taken as last time (one point lower I guess) but still a really good wine. Deep purple color, opaque. Nose of deep dark berry, dark fruit, white pepper / high toned spice. The palate is full, subtle medium bodied with good ripe dark fruit not overly extracted, subtle clove spice, good acidity and grainy but not intrusive tannins. Has a substantial finish. Well made wine at a great QPR.
