Community Tasting Note

  November 18, 2010 - See my prior tasting notes on this wine. This bottle had an insufficient backbone. There was sufficient fruit, but just about no tannin and no complexity. More like a juice than a wine. Not as good as the last bottle of this batch (I bought 6). This could have come from a bad batch. Overall, the 2006 was quite good (fabulous QPR), the 2007 good and the 2008 just barely a 90.

  1/10/11, 6:16 PM - I wonder if this bottle got some age, it would be a little better for ya? I think it wil mellow a little with what get is a high level of acid/tartness and that sour cherry deal...I won't drink my other bottle for a good year.
