  September 24, 2010 - Dark brownish ruby color of medium density. Medium intensity nose, giving off rather faint barnyard aromas and very faint blackberries. Shows some dark fruit flavors upfront, but not enough to support an odd structure of green, bitter tannins that come up towards the end. Finishes medium to long, with a certain eucalyptus flare to it. Quite dry. Not too harmonious. Improves after an hour of opening.
