November 27, 2010 - A Pinot for those who like their Pinots to taste like high octane Zinfandel. This is certainly enjoyable, but more of a cocktail sipper than a serious wine. All upfront fruit, lively and fun, but zero finish and one dimensional. I bought this when Loring offered it on special for 19.99, so can't really complain.

But when looking to enjoy a Pinot, you just don't want it tasting like a Turley Zin. I'm guessing its 25% of that varietal. Minimum.

Also, more commonly Syrah is blended with Pinot Noir than Zinfandel, but I completely get your point,
