  November 28, 2010 - Maybe it's because the wine was served in little claret goblets, but we could not denote an easily discernable nose on this wine, so judgement on the nose is reserved for a future tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed the developed rioja flavours which remained dominant in the mouth for a good length of time - I figure this is due to its age. This wine can stand up to food like seasoned roast beef, but I would still keep the food a bit toned down, just to allow for a full enjoyment of the wine. So, hold the seasoning. This wine is definitely worth the price and is good to drink now.
