  December 6, 2010 - Notes from memory. Splash decant - 15 min. Was a bit tight at first, but slowly opened up throughout the evening. Was much better with food than without... Lighter on the palate overall than expected, but still had decent mid-palate grip. Nose was nice - red fruit mostly, with some herbaceousness - almost minty. Similar profile on the palate - medium finish. Nice acidity, tannins still there - they softened up with air. I liked it, but didn't love it. Next bottle in 2 years (I hope).
