  December 18, 2010 - Deep color, nose of plums, spice, and cocoa. Smells a little hot and the alcohol is listed at 15.3. It wears it pretty well, though I can feel the heat after what otherwise is a long, smooth 30 second aftertaste. Black fruits on the palate, jammy, with more chocolate. Drinking very nicely but I can't help thinking picking a little earlier might have resulted in a more food friendly and classic syrah.
