  December 26, 2010 - We opened this to drink with a braised duck, and it really needed food. Initially a massive beast of a wine , acidic and tannic. Softened over the course of 2 hours to reveal lovely plums but with a strong backbone. This is all hairy chest and medallions, but wouldn't touch another bottle for at least 5 years.
