Community Tasting Note

January 3, 2011 - Specs had this on sale for $10 so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've seen a lot of good notes on '04 white burgs and thought it might have some life left. Ended up being very nice.

At first this smelled slightly sherried but it blew off quickly. The color is dark yellow but certainly not a golden, oxidized color. Perfumed nose of lime blossoms, lemon, a hint of oak, and minerals. Tons of acidity on the palate. Ample acidity and solid fruit. I'd drink this soon if you have it because it's at its peak. Glad to see it isn't premoxed. ***
