  March 11, 2011 - This is in a fantastic place already - lemons, minerals and a hint of sea shell. Chablis with a touch more fruit, and a nice roundness. It's very tough to believe this wine went through 100% malolactic fermentation and saw 50% new oak - it definitely challenges the notion of stereotypical California Chardonnay. Drinking well now, but should improve over the next few years.
