March 11, 2011 - Wine-Pages Dublin Offline (Ely CHQ, Dublin, Ireland): This was served blind. It was originally a little cold which muted the nose. However the touch of oak was beautiful integrated. Initially mistaken for a white Burgundy however as it warmed up it started giving off its classic Sauvignon Blanc nose and was first thought to be a Didier Dagueneau but transpired to be a Dog Point SB. A very nice wine and atypical NZ SB. My first quess was Greywacke Wild Sauvignon but I went the Burgundy route after that and got it wrong.
