  March 16, 2011 - Fresh, light ruby color. Upon the initial pour this was very aromatic with lots of charming ripe, red fruit and a bit of toast. In the mouth, the big fruit wasn't enough to round out the scratchy wool texture and alcohol leaving this wine wanting balance. It clashed with simple meals on the first and third night. While I did enjoy drinking it on its own, I would not buy again. If I had more, I would drink this in the next year or two.
