  May 10, 2011 - Decanted one hour, consumed over two. Youthful cherry red in glass. Expressive nose of red fruits and roasted meats, with earth, licorice and dried flowers. Cherries and plums on the palate, with wet earth, graphite, vanilla, cloves and some coffee. Great complexity, long finish, nobility in the glass. A long life ahead, hopefully I can restrain myself.
