  May 28, 2011 - Popped, left open for an hour, then enjoyed with a dinner of grilled steak, organic salad and truffle mac & cheese. Nose had the mourvedre stank, herbs, baking spices. Tremendous balance throughout, with flavors of black cherries, clove, nutmeg intertwined beautifully within a framework of dusty minerality and tannic structure. Just a lingering, seductive, meal enhancing experience. Love the old style CdP.
