  May 31, 2011 - Solid wine. Upon opening I found a bit too much wood on the nose a palate, but the wine really smoothed out over the first 10-15 min. Nice ripeness of fruit mixed with some cocoa and herb notes. Minimal acidity. Tannins are soft but a bit prominent. I suspect this will harmonize over the next year or two.
