  June 2, 2011 - Opened and poured into glasses, let sit for an hour. Wine is very dark, looked like Guiness in the glass. Nose is primarily Sangiovese notes, somewhat muted. Oak is present but not dominating, firm but not over the top tannins. Sangio flavor profile with the cab and merlot rounding the edges. Not jammy like the color might suggest. Med. body, short finish. Opened up more, needs 2+ hour decant.
