    December 20, 2010 - Mature brown colour. Nose is dominated by strawberries, hazel nuts and a touch of black hawthorn. Also a sweet biscuit note, butchers floor and licorice root. After 20 min a less charming polisher/confit note dominating the nose and the strawberries appear more jammy. Aftertaste medium long, tannins nice and coating, fruit with medium weight on the palate. All the palate elements appear well integrated and balanced. The wine is mature now, but should keep drinking well over the next 2-4 years. A wine that really divided people and the score range was unusually broad, between 90 and 95 points, so the final score below is an average. I was personally in the low end of the spectre because of the polisher / strawberry jam components...
