  June 22, 2011 - This was a very nice bottle of wine, so fresh, the fruit was alive and intense, showing dark juicy blackberry fruit, black currant, sun on wood. Delicate and elegantly balanced dance of fruit, acidity, tannins. And all of this was happening within 10 minutes of opening the bottle. An incredible contrast to the first bottle we opened three hours earlier. Hubby was not able to be convinced they were the same wine, same vintage, bought at the same time at the same store -- this is how different they were. The first bottle wasn't corked; it was just a flabby, dull-fruited bottle of wine that promised good things but didn't come together.
