  July 1, 2011 - I remember when I started learning about wine, this was my first bottle in my collection. My palate was still novice at the time, and thought that this was great for the price and quality. Open the last second bottle, ruby red, notes of cherry, green herbs, gooseberries, pungent overtone. The overtone dissipated, leaving a dryish lingering textures of simple green gooseberries, tannin still prominent as I had remembered it, dry acidy finish. Well, I think I open the last bottle in 5 years time, waiting for the tannin to soften.
