July 7, 2011 - Initial notes of forest floor, barnyard and wet moulds. It soon dissipates, followed by sweet floral notes of raspberry, ripe plum, smoke, spices, mushrooms. Tight textured palate, gripping tannin, slightly mellows over time, c 1 hour, acid ever present in the background.
