  June 11, 2011 - Back, Back in the USofA (StrEat Restaurant, Austin, Texas): The youngest of the flight scored high for "potential" with some tasters. Showing minimal rim variation this dark ruby wine offered a bouquet of violets, raspberry, cherry, fatty meat, plum, herbs, and chocolate. Tasting of fresh red and black fruit, spice, not much oak treatment was evident. This fairly tight wine possessed firm tannins and medium acidity, but the finish at this time is short.
