  August 12, 2011 - Disappointing Red Blend. Usually one expects the winemaker to blend varietals to create something better than the sum of its parts. Not the case here. This tastes disjointed, lacking any distintive flavors. It is a darker red, if I was forced to pick a nose I would say plum, but again nothing really stads out. It is as if someone poured samples from different bottles into one glass and said "here, try this!"
  I guess for the price it is not a bad table red, but I expect a little more craftsmanship from a blend. Like they poured what was left from the barrels together and called it "Red."
  Won't purchase again for any price.
