  August 16, 2011 - White flowers, ripe peaches, slate and caramel on the nose. Medium-bodied with a rich core of ripe pineapple and peach, with an obvious oak component, but a lacy structure of fine minerals and acid to balance it. The oak is definitely there, but not obtrusive IMO. A very good value and was delicious with sauteed speckled trout.
